the exhibition "Golden Years" presents new work by
students from the University of Toronto’s art departments at its
St. George, Mississauga and Scarborough campuses.

Pyle.
“Golden
Years” presents a selection of works from the 2007/2008 University
of Toronto undergraduate studio art program. Many of the developing
artists included speak through their art on important issues, including
the spread of militarism into everyday life (Mark Griffin), the function
of memory and language in a culture of displacement (Risa Kusumoto),
the uses of art and environment to dispel loneliness and anxiety (Annie
Tse), environmental destruction and commodification (Jacklin Liu &
Nancy Mak), and the tensions between cultural and individual identity
(Patrick Misfud & Annie Cheung).
